Love my Trangia, had it for 35 years. Just recently updated to the gas burner and all new non stick pans. I had the kettle but never used it.

Just found your channel and at first I thought you were Graham McTavish! Trying to decide the best time of year to do the GGW. What were the dates of your trip? Also, did that diversion have any info about how long the track would be closed?

Thanks for this video! in my opinion the pot stand works better for 27 whit smaller diameter, and it works on 2 levels. for 25 it's a bitt clumsy (because the bigger diameter)

I LOVE the extra space at the back. That was always my main complaint about this style of chuckbox: by the time you add the cooktop you really don't have that much workspace. This is a great design with so many nice touches. I'm going to make a near-perfect copy for my own setup, thank you so much for sharing!

I was on the GG 25-29 May. 1st night on the repositioned Glas-dhoire site, the site with the bears you checked out. 2nd night at the ‘wild camping’ spot at Kyltra locks. D3 wild camped about 4 miles before Drumnadrochit. D4 Abriachan Eco camping, D5 Inverness and a hostel. Worst day was the first on the tow path but other than that I was surprised how high above the canal the patch was. Enjoyed your video.😊

You can inflate the "shnozzle bag" at 3:37 much more easily via the Bernoulli effect. Open the pump bag wide, blow into the open end, quickly close it and roll up. The velocity of the air stream you blow into the bag will cause a localised drop in pressure, drawing surrounding air into the bag. You should be able to get about 50% of the pump bag volume full this way, without the need to detach the pump bag and wave it about. 6 or 7 fills should be enough for the air pad. Hope that helps if you ever don't have you Flextail to hand.

I’ve been searching for a front opening backpack for awhile now. This helped me a lot. I bring a long telephoto lens with me and front opening allows me to access the camera with the lens attached easily. The side opening packs were no good because the very expensive lens would have to live without any padding on one side. Very risky. This solves everything.
